In 2011, legendary Italian fashion designer Stefano Pilati, then Creative Director of Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), visited Denim Revival with an urgent request: two pairs of custom jeans based on his original designs.
Our team accepted the challenge and handcrafted both pairs with exceptional precision and attention to detail.
Weeks later, a package arrived from France containing Stefano’s photograph with a personal message:

When Hollywood star Ryan Gosling needed a custom denim jacket for the movie Drive (2011), Denim Revival took on an extraordinary challenge: designing, creating, fitting, and finishing a one-of-a-kind jacket in just one day.
From the initial design to the final stitch, our skilled craftsmen worked with exceptional precision and dedication to bring the vision to life. Every detail was carefully considered to achieve the perfect fit, distinctive style, and authentic denim character.
In less than 24 hours, the jacket was designed, cut, sewn, fitted, and ready to wear.
This remarkable project remains one of Denim Revival’s proudest Hollywood collaborations, demonstrating our ability to deliver exceptional custom denim craftsmanship under even the most demanding deadlines.
